How we work
We work closely with NDIS support coordinators and offer joint home visits to ensure we understand and meet each client’s specific requirements. Our Occupational Therapy team plays a vital role in this process, ensuring that the best possible outcome is achieved by offering professional advice and assessments tailored to the individual’s needs.
Once a plan is in place, your job will be closely monitored by our team of experts and professionals in home modifications, ensuring the work is done to the highest standards. We pride ourselves on delivering holistic care with compassionate values, focusing not only on the physical modifications needed but also on the overall well-being of the individual.
Our Services
At FBM (Fusion Building and Maintenance), we provide specialist home modifications that enable people to live with greater safety, confidence, and independence in their own homes. We are committed to supporting some of the most vulnerable members of the community, including NDIS participants and older Australians, by delivering practical, high-quality solutions that are tailored to individual needs.
We work closely with occupational therapists, support coordinators, case managers, and families to ensure every job is approached with care, precision, and a strong understanding of funding guidelines. Our team takes the time to understand the specific goals of each client and to provide clear, respectful communication at every stage.
Our services include:
Handrails and grab rails – custom-made and professionally installed to match each client’s home and mobility needs
• Access ramps and step modifications – designed to reduce fall risk and improve day-to-day movement around the home
• Bathroom safety upgrades – including walk-in showers, non-slip surfaces, fold-down seats, accessible fixtures, and grab rails for increased comfort and usability
• Doorway widening and threshold adjustments – for easier access with walkers, wheelchairs, or mobility aids
• Minor and major home modifications – tailored to suit individual needs and built to meet NDIS and aged care standards
• Quoting and planning support – we assist clients and care teams with scoping, quoting, and navigating approvals under NDIS or aged care funding
• Ongoing client support – including modifications over time as needs change, or as plans are updated or renewed
FBM is a registered NDIS provider and is approved to carry out work under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Package (HCP) funding. All profits from FBM go directly back into supporting Fusion’s broader mission of helping young people and families thrive.
